The Urban Technology Group and Codefork are thrilled to announce their recent merger.  It has proven the perfect opportunity to combine their impressive skills in the software sector and to allow them to strengthen and broaden services and reach as they move into a new phase of exciting growth

By combining expertise in delivering business-change management, digital transformation, process-mapping customer functions, and driving increased efficiencies by leveraging technology, creates a compelling and sustainable competitive advantage for their growth client-bases. They know that their experience, skill, energy and ambition will enable them to continue serving established and new clients to the highest of standards.

Lou Crane, CEO said: “The merger will be a vehicle to meet the growing demand for our services, drive additional new product innovation and continue to guide business owners through the often-challenging transition from incumbent systems to fit for purpose products”. It has been the company’s long-held belief that what they offer is so needed, now more than ever, as companies look to recover from the impact of Covid-19, a vision that Dave, CTO passionately shares.  He confirms:

“The new company has the ability to be agile and help our clients move to a more cost-efficient model, allowing for lower software project start-up costs and a monthly development model making our approach now more accessible to more companies. This allows our clients to remain innovative and agile, yet still meeting our customer needs without the requirement for a one-off large-scale expense that is commonly associated with bespoke development projects”.

Having such a diverse set of skills and products to offer clients will lead to effective and more efficient business processes through the use of innovative technology and software solutions.

Both businesses are technology enablers and have the same set of core values with a deep understanding of their client base, meaning the new company will be a powerful partner, working with clients to add business value whilst assisting with returns and organisational growth.

Lou has told us that “we’ll be looking to develop a hub and research base for our team and clients and being Cheshire based we work consistently throughout the Northwest and UK”.

The Urban Tech Group is being advised by Dropjaw Ventures Group who have invested an undisclosed sum in the business and will be providing ongoing advisory and Non-Executive work to the company.
