Our Explore Session has been devised to take you from understanding your true current situation to a defined plan in as short a time as possible.

Your session will allow you to fully understand your options before proceeding to anything that has a more significant operational or financial impact.

A common point of failure for software, regardless of its purpose, is under-planning and not understanding real need. And that can cause wasted investment to catastrophic business loss. Without working through this phase, over 50% of projects deliver less value for the end user than initially planned.

What to expect

We want you to achieve three things during the process:

It’s OK to have multiple plans, conflicting ideas and direction confusion. Trends and new methodologies very quickly influence behaviour leaving you with decision fatigue.

So once you’ve booked your Explore Session, we will have a 1 hour consultation call. This will be a fact finding call and a chance for us to get to know your business and organisational structure, along with any existing systems and your goals for the year. It will help us to set the agenda for the next session so that it is tailored for your needs.

Then, we’ll run your 4 hour Explore and Discovery session, either as a face to face or as 2 x 2 hour online sessions.

Finally, we will collate everything we’ve explored with you and present it in a report along with our feedback, challenges, some quick wins and suggested next steps.

A client requested the build of campaign management software because the delivery of their service was haphazard and often felt like they didn’t have a 360 view of activities. That was certainly an issue, however as we explored the operations with the team, it came to light that those roles and responsibilities hadn’t been clearly defined and there was a lot of apathy amongst the campaign staff. Nobody was aware of what others were doing and they lacked cohesion.

We worked with the team in a focus group to identify what their individual roles were and the touch points they had with the software. It revealed a lot of emotive issues, from performance expectations to being able to handle customer complaints. As a result of this process, we were able to open discussions, define tasks, improve performance, streamline some of the tasks and add automation at various points to alleviate administrative burden.

The learnings from this exercise went far beyond tech – it illustrated how team happiness and ownership created fewer errors and staff were more keen to record accurate data because they understood the importance of it.
